Kardo’s Olbia Shorts are crafted from handwoven silk. Ayarn-dyed stripe pattern was designed in-house and handwoven using hand spun raw mulberry silk waste by a master weaver in Bengal.An easy fit unisex style, featuring an elastic waistband with drawstring and side pockets. Perfect for beachwear.Matka silk is made from the waste of mulberry silk and the spun nature of the threads means that they are slightly thicker than conventional silk but still very soft, giving it a feel that is somewhere between cotton and cashmere.A unique part of Kardo’s production is that each garment is made from start to finish by the same tailor (as opposed to production line construction) with hand-finished detailing.- 100% Silk- Gentle Wash- Made in India
