December has always been the month that I look forward to. It's because I can have Christmas, birthday, and National Online Shopping Day (Harbolnas)—which are my most favorite days of the year—in a month. And what comes to mind when you hear the word "Christmas" and "birthday"? Presents, of course. Whether it's Secret Santa or just a regular birthday gift from families or friends. Harbolnas, however, is the day when I can treat myself with discounts and great deals from my favorite e-commerce sites.
Discounts have been drawing closer since late November. But, whether you like it or not, as the arguably most awaited event in this December, Harbolnas is already just around the corner. Not gonna lie, this year I’m really into Harbolnas. I feel like placing check marks on my wishlist this year. And yes, I've listed some items that I'd love to get as a present this year, or for me to buy myself. A Christmas-slash-birthday gift-slash-shopping list, maybe...
I have to say, this is the thing that I want the most for this year. Yes, I am really in need of a good camera to leverage the quality of my blog contents. I'm convinced that mirrorless camera fits my preference and needs best, but it's still ridiculously over the budget for me. However, I'm going to pretend like it's an actual possibility. I'm currently eyeing up the Canon EOS M10, which looks really stylish and sleek. Also, it has the features and specifications that I'm looking for. The Nikon 1 J5 is less expensive, anyway, if I am going to buy one for myself. It has a more vintage look that I might look like an actual blog photographer when I'm holding one.
Makeup and Skincare
When it comes to a good beauty gift set, I'm easy to buy for. Just get me anything like the Real Techniques Deluxe Gift Set, which contains some limited edition of Real Technique brushes, or the Menard Gift Set, with its high-rated moisturizing skin care products. To be honest, I'm just a sucker for any beauty sets. Especially the ones that come with a pretty beauty palette, then I'll be already over the moon. The BareMinerals Tutorials Starlit Eyes Kit would be an excellent gift because it already includes makeup products for eyes and face complexion. It's quite similar to the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Cuztomizable Set, but this one is more because I'm so curious about its high-raved foundation and primer.
The other thing that I wish to have this December are some great pair of kicks that I've dreamed of since December last year. However, thankfully, I have already checked off one from my last year's wishlist, which is the Vans Old Skool that I got when travelling to Melbourne. This year, I'd like to have the Puma Womens Basket Platform Reset. I really love its platform creeper gum sole, which is very '90s. Beside sneakers, I also have long been wanting a pair from Dr. Martens, especially this Adrian Arcadia.
My friends always laugh at me for the fact that I've started to run weekly. Well, no wonder, I was previously known as the girl who hates sports—except swimming—and doesn't master one at all. But, a colleague had successfully convinced me to join him running at the company's jogging track on Fridays, and there I go. So now I've been itching to have some sport-gears that can make an amateur runner like me dashing comfortably. The Nike Women's Power Running Crop Tights and Adidas Essentials Linear Tights are the basic bottoms I need because they are made from the perfect material for running. Also, maybe I should've put these on the Shoes part, but I think the Puma Blaze Multi Shoes and Nike Women's Air Max 2017 Running Shoes look so great and stylish for running. I just wish that they also come in my size.
